About the gravitational pallet racks - FIFO (Pallet Flow)
The gravitational pallet system is mainly used to store large quantities of goods of the same type in palletized form after the first in – first out (FIFO) system. The pallets are placed on one side of the roller bed, moving, due to the gravitational force, on these rollers towards the pick-up area.
Benefits :
- Up to 60% less floor space than conventional pallet racks;
- The first in – first out system (fifo) – ensures the rotation of stocks;
- A dedicated loading face and a pickup face so only two access corridors are needed.
